To support the SDG 14 “Life Below Water” introduced by United Nations, CORUM has spontaneously organized beach cleaning activities since 2019. In 2019, a total of 25 staff from several departments volunteered and gave their best efforts in collecting more than 50kg of debris washed up from the ocean as well as those left behind by visitors at Laomei Green Reef (老梅綠石槽) along the north coastline of Taiwan. In 2020, CORUM rehosted the event to help clean up Qianshuiwan beach(淺水灣)located in the north of Taiwan. Through these activities, we are proud to take our environmental protection initiative to the next level.

To support SDG 3 “Good health and well-being” introduced by United Nations, CORUM provided its employees an interactive health talk to raise awareness on personal health management. We believe it is essential for CORUM to support our employees to take good care of their wellbeing, along with their physical and mental health.

CORUM has won the 2020 Green Business Certification from Taiwan Education and Promotion Association of Organic and Green Living. We commit to improving energy conservation, environmental protection, and social value creation to embrace the earth.

CORUM aims to promote SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 10 “Reduced Inequalities” introduced by United Nations. As a local enterprise in Chiayi, CORUM launched “Books for Hope, Love in Chiayi” children's book donation campaign in 2021. By donating all the used books gathered by our employees to Xinchuan second-hand bookstore, we together provide free educational resources to students come from families with financial difficulties. Through this event, CORUM hopes to shorten the gap between urban and rural education resources and create a local mutual beneficial ecosystem by supporting local public welfare organizations through practical actions.

Aligning with SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 10 “Reduced Inequalities" introduced by United Nations, CORUM aims to promote education for students from families with financial difficulties by implementing their cultivation of scientific reading and art and stimulating their creativity and observation throughout the rewarded campaign.

In 2021, CORUM establishes Art Promotion Annual Award with Xin Chuan Second-hand Bookstore in Chiayi, Taiwan. By combining Art and Science, CORUM hopes to encourage students to learn scientific knowledge from videos or books and express their ideas with art creation.

CORUM keeps paying attention to the critical social issues and blends them into the themes of campaigns to raise students’ awareness. For instance, the theme of 2021 Art Promotion Award "Art in SCIENCE" painting campaign was set to be relative to COVID-19: “The Importance of Cleaning in Epidemic Prevention” in order to implement students’ knowledge in epidemic prevention by watching the scientific video created by CORUM or reading related science books.
