Corum Inc. is pleased to announce the publication of its 2022 Corporate Sustainability Report in English version today, which summarizes the company’s materiality assessments, diverse business-related initiatives and short- , medium- to long-term growth strategies based on environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. The Chinese version of Corum 2022 Corporate Sustainability Report has been published in this June. 

This is the 2^nd publication of Corum Sustainability Report, starting with a synopsis of 2022 highlights in ESG performance and Corum President Lee’s vision and comments on corporate social responsibility and sustainability management.

In 2022, for the first time, a thorough inventory of Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions based on ISO14064-1 and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol was implemented. We also introduced a new low-carbon product, Azeclair^® P in 2022, vastly improving water consumption and further reducing the carbon emissions in transportation and downstream manufacturing. In addition, the result of the 2022 Downstream Shipment Consolidation Plan is a massive 18.75% CO2e reduction when compared to year 2021, which significantly ahead of the UN’s carbon reduction goal of 7.6%!

Corum’s 2022 Sustainability Report also resets the company’s target and baseline of CO2e reduction, explores the company’s action plan towards climate-change related risks and opportunities according to the TCFD framework, and communicates the company’s management in biodiversity and due diligence in value chain. This annual report includes detailed and updated information on Corum’s ESG work.
