The D&B Taiwan Top1000 Elite SME Award evaluates companies by cross-referencing Taiwan’s SME export data with the world’s largest commercial database. Selection criteria include payment records, financial stress index, ESG performance, revenue growth, and export ratings. Companies with three consecutive years of stable revenue growth, no bounced checks, and no major negative litigation are eligible. From over 1.7 million SMEs in Taiwan, only the top 1000 enterprises are selected each year as outstanding representatives.

Since 2024, the award has further strengthened its evaluation standards, focusing on sustainability, financial risk management, and growth potential. ESG indicators now account for 60% of the overall assessment, covering areas such as sustainability initiatives, carbon management, and operational transparency.
