We are delighted to officially announce the theme and introduction video for the the 6th CORUM Art in Science Award “Mood Makeup Palette – Turning Emotions into Colors!”
Makeup is not only a tool for external beauty enhancement, but also a language of emotion and an extension of psychology. Therefore, this year’s painting theme is inspired by the concept of a “Mood Makeup Palette,” transforming different emotions into imaginative colors and textures. Several representative “mood” topics have been designed to invite participants to express their inner feelings through artistic use of color.
This creative concept is also closely connected to the cosmetic ingredient industry. Behind every shade, glow, and sensory texture lies the thoughtful combination and design of functional ingredients. From pigments and emollients to sensory modifiers, cosmetic ingredient engineers act like color artists, translating emotions into experiences that can be felt on the skin. In this way, “mood” is not only something that can be seen, but also something that can be applied, experienced, and truly felt.
The film is now available in Corum’s YouTube channel for free. Please remember to watch it and feel free to discuss more with us. Your advice is always and highly appreciated.
