Corum’s 2026 2nd Beach Cleanup!

On August 14, 2026, the Corum team returned to Zhongjiao Bay to take part in a beach cleanup activity. Although the day brought cloudy skies and intermittent rain showers, the unpredictable weather did not dampen our team’s enthusiasm for protecting the environment.

Through this beach cleanup, we collected 185 kg of marine waste, helping to reduce 0.381 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) emissions*. Every piece of waste removed from the shoreline helps ease the burden on the beach and reminds us that meaningful change can begin with simple, hands-on actions.

Protecting the environment is not achieved overnight. It is built through continued participation and collective efforts over time. Through actions like this, Corum hopes to encourage greater awareness of marine conservation and carry this appreciation for nature forward.

We sincerely thank the Jinshan District Cleaning Team and the Zhongjiao Bay Visitor Center for their support and assistance, which helped make this event a success and enabled us to once again turn our commitment to ocean conservation into meaningful action.

*According to the Taiwan Carbon Footprint Information Platform of the Environmental Protection Administration, for every 1 kilogram of garbage output reduction (1 kilogram of recycled waste), about 2.06 kilograms of CO2e emissions are reduced.
