With years of unremitting efforts, CORUM got awarded with Special Award for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) of the National Occupational Safety and Health Award in this October, and has further won the "2022 D&B Top 1000 Elite SME Award” for five consecutive years. The award ceremony was held on November 9th at Mandarin Oriental, Taipei.

The award was evaluated by global database to select the TOP 1000 winners with the performance of most export competitiveness from 1.46 million SMEs. This year, in particular, a new indicator "ESG Index" was added which includes the data of corporate payment index, financial stress index, export growth rate, export grade, total export value of more than 500,000 US dollars in the past three years with no refund record, no negative lawsuit news, and etc. And the outstanding ESG enterprises will be chosen according to the above index.

2022 D&B Top 1000 Elite SME Award focuses on "ESG empowerment, sustainable corporate evolution theory", combining three major topics of sustainable finance, sustainable technology, and sustainable governance. By using the power of data,  companies continuously optimize the ability of Taiwan's SMEs operation and management to improve technological transformation, and more actively implement the green and sustainable goal.

Driven by the trend of ESG, issues such as environmental protection, social integration, and corporate governance have substantially affected the sources of funds and order acquisition. D&B’s report pointed out that companies with good ESG performance have relatively brighter results in the past three years; From the perspective of financial performance, observing the constituent stocks of the Taiwan Sustainability Index, corporate ESG performance is highly positively correlated with EPS ; From the perspective of fund performance, ESG funds also performed well during the recession of the epidemic. It also recalls the truth of "Good ESG is good for business."
